Greg Winger, MD completed his Bachelor of Science in biology and zoology with a minor in chemistry at Southern Utah University. He finished his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Utah and his residency at Intermountain Healthcare’s Utah Valley Hospital. Throughout his career, he has received many awards and recognitions for excellence, including the Curtis G. Anderson Excellence as Chief Resident Award, the Andrew W. Mayberry Excellence in Teaching Award, and the David C. Flinders Excellence in Servant Leadership Award.
Dr. Winger became a physician because he knew he wanted a career that would allow him to take care of people during every stage of their lives and build meaningful relationships. To him, being a health professional is the most rewarding profession. He chose to specialize in family medicine so that he could get to know his patients beyond their medical histories. He is always the happiest when he is around interesting people, and family medicine allows him to get to know a large variety of people and contribute to their lives in meaningful ways. In addition to his specialty in family medicine, Dr. Winger has a passion for mental health, pediatric medicine, sports medicine, and preventive medicine.
When Dr. Winger is not helping patients, he enjoys both playing and watching sports. He is an active pickleball player, loves the outdoors, and spends most of his time with his wife, Chelsie, and their baby girl.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.
Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.
CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
