Paula Barney, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Brigham Young University and her Master’s degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Brigham Young University. She has spent many years in emergency nursing caring for people of all ages with many different health issues and injuries.

Paula is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She was also awarded graduate student of the year by the Brigham Young University College of Nursing.

Paula’s mother worked as a registered nurse in the American Fork Hospital Emergency Department and was a major reason why Paula pursued a career in medicine. Paula loved talking to her mother about her work and was proud of how she helped so many people in distress. Paula chose to practice at Revere Health because of its commitment to high-quality and affordable care, as well as the friendliness and competence of its staff. Her goals are to listen carefully to her patients so she can address their concerns effectively, as well as to use the most current, evidence-based guidelines in her treatment plans.

In her free time, Paula attends her kids’ soccer and football games. She also enjoys HIGH fitness, listening to non-fiction audiobooks while doing chores, and making treats for her four teenagers.
