Sarah Hunt, NP is a cardiac electrophysiology nurse practitioner at Revere Health in Provo, Utah. She provides comprehensive education and treatment for heart rhythm disorders and assists with the management of cardiac devices.
Her connection to cardiology is deep-rooted. At a young age, Sarah’s father suffered a heart attack, which prompted her mother to pursue nursing. Those moments set the foundation for Sarah’s career as a cardiac nurse practitioner. She enjoys serving others and helping her patients understand their healthcare needs—especially heart health.
Sarah earned a Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) from Georgetown University in Washington DC and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and she is also certified as both a critical-care registered nurse (CCRN) and trauma nurse (TNCC). Prior to joining Revere Health, Sarah worked at Intermountain Healthcare for nine years where she was an ICU nurse.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two full-energy dogs by going hiking and camping in the nearby mountains. She also enjoys traveling to experience new cultures and makes every effort to visit Disneyland with her family as often as possible.
A provider's patient satisfaction rating is determined by patient responses to questions from the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey, administered by NRC Health.
Patients today have more choices than ever, including where, how and from whom they get care. That's why Revere Health believes it's important to provide access to transparent information, empowering our patients to make knowledgable decisions about their healthcare.
CAHPS surveys are funded and overseen by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Patients receive the nine-question survey via email or phone call, and we publish provider ratings on Revere Health's website once he or she has at least 30 completed surveys.
