Bio | Dr. Scott Evans is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist care. He earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience with a minor in business management from Brigham Young University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he received research honors. Dr. Evans completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico and a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia. He also holds a specialty certificate in hand surgery. Dr. Evans has experience caring for a wide variety of hand and upper-extremity conditions in both large orthopedic groups and private practice. His areas of focus include carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, arthritis, fractures and trauma, sports injuries, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s disease, ganglion cysts, and hand and wrist pain. He also performs wrist arthroscopy and minimally invasive procedures, with many treatments performed conveniently in the office using local anesthesia. For Dr. Evans, medicine combines his interests in science and problem-solving with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. He values compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients restore function and return to the activities they enjoy. At Revere Health, he looks forward to helping grow comprehensive hand and upper-extremity services throughout Utah County. Outside of work, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, golfing, running, mountain biking, and exploring Utah’s mountains. |
