Salem, Utah (April 15, 2016) – Revere Health, formerly Central Utah Clinic, will open its new campus in Salem on May 9, 2016. With nearly a quarter of Revere Health’s Utah County patients living south of Springville, this new facility will offer many additional services closer to home.
“This will be an exciting addition to our community,” says Dr. Troy Lunceford, a provider with Payson Internal Medicine and a resident of southern Utah County, “It will help decrease the fragmented care that has been at our end of the valley for a long time.”
The new campus that broke ground in January of 2015 will be a major addition to the rapidly growing community. It is the biggest commercial development in Salem’s history and is projected to accommodate over 150,000 patients each year.
A private ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, May 13, 2016. Those in attendance include various community leaders and over 50 Revere Health providers who live in the southern Utah County area. Additionally, a community open house and celebration sponsored by Westland Construction will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016.
The new facility will offer many services including an ambulatory surgical center, imaging center, physical therapy, laboratory and pharmacy with plans to also include medical offices for orthopedics, internal medicine, family medicine, urology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and a suite to rotate between several other specialties.
A connected building on the campus will also house an overnight, extended care facility with 16 beds for post-surgical patients and short-term rehabilitation.
