Revere Health Welcomes Dr. Saiham Shahabuddin to St. George Internal Medicine

Revere Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Saiham Shahabuddin, a board-certified internal medicine physician, to St. George Internal Medicine. Dr. Shahabuddin joins Revere Health with a decade of hospital-based medicine experience and will provide comprehensive primary care to patients in the St. George area. His addition expands access to personalized primary care and supports Revere Health’s commitment to serving the growing health care needs of southern Utah.

Dr. Shahabuddin completed his undergraduate education at Lehigh University and earned his medical degree from Medical University of the Americas. He completed his internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Elmhurst and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Shahabuddin has practiced hospital-based medicine in both large academic medical centers and smaller community hospitals. His experience has prepared him to care for diverse patient populations and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions. He brings this background to his primary care practice with an emphasis on continuity of care and helping patients manage their health before and after hospitalization.

Dr. Shahabuddin provides primary and geriatric care with a focus on holistic wellness, diabetes management, hypertension, renal disease, coronary artery disease, post-acute care management, and care following recent hospitalizations. A desire to serve others originally led him to medicine, and he was attracted to Revere Health by the opportunity to establish a primary care practice and make a positive contribution to the community.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Shahabuddin enjoys mountain biking, trail running, off-roading, camping, and spending time with his dogs. His appreciation for the outdoors makes southern Utah a natural fit both personally and professionally.
