KANAB, UT – July 10, 2017 – Bryson Hollingshead, DO recently joined Revere Health as the newest family medicine provider at Kanab Family Medicine.
Hollingshead most recently practiced in Kansas, but he is originally from a small town in Southern Utah and is thrilled to be back in the area.
“Because I grew up in a small town,” said Hollingshead, “I always wanted to practice medicine in a more rural area where I could be involved in the community.”
Hollingshead looks forward to bringing more services to Kanab and hopes to encourage local high school students to study medicine, particularly rural medicine, so they can expand the services patients in rural areas have access to.
“In addition to the full spectrum of family medicine”, said Hollingshead, “I will be doing deliveries, C-sections, colonoscopies and standard office procedures. I will also be doing vasectomies and D&Cs.”
Revere Health Kanab Family Medicine is located next to Kane County Hospital and can treat a variety of conditions, offering both in-patient and outpatient services.
Outside the clinic, Hollingshead enjoys spending time with family and friends in the mountains or at home. He also enjoys hunting, shooting, camping, hiking and sports.
Hollingshead is board certified in family medicine and speaks Spanish.
