| Eric Innes, MD obtained a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and sciences, cum laude, at Utah State University and a Doctor of Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. As part of his training, Dr. Innes completed a general surgery internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and an anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is board certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology and specializes in pain management. Dr. Innes knew he wanted to be a doctor because he was fascinated with human anatomy from a young age. During his anesthesiology training, he was exposed to pain management and found that this specialty afforded him opportunities to establish long-term relationships with his patients while helping them find healing and happiness. Dr. Innes is a dedicated provider who listens intently and approaches patient interactions with a calm demeanor that puts his patients at ease and helps him connect with them about medical procedures. When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Innes enjoys watching and participating in all types of sports, such as golf, as well as reading, traveling, cooking, eating, exploring the beautiful state of Utah, and spending time with his family. |
