| Reese Blackwell, PA-C graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah earning a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology. He also completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University – Nevada. His physician assistant program was diverse and included pediatric, internal, emergency, community, and family medicines, as well as multiple surgical disciplines. Reese is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in orthopedic surgery. He remains current in BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Reese speaks fluent English and Spanish and is currently learning Russian. Since 2009, Reese has worked in the field of orthopedics and plastic surgery related to the hand, wrist, and elbow. He treats children, athletes of all ages/ competition levels, and individuals with industrial/ work injuries. He also treats a variety of conditions including fractures and other trauma, repetitive use conditions, soft tissue disorders, tendinitis, and arthritis. He works side-by-side with Dr. Ryan Richards, and he is truly passionate about taking care of hands. Reese is married to his high school sweetheart and has three children. In addition to his medical practice, he currently serves in the Utah Army National Guard. When he is not taking care of patients, Reese spends his spare time with family playing football, basketball, pickleball, and also teaching as a firearms instructor.
