Revere Health is pleased to welcome back Dr. Scott Evans to its orthopedic team. Dr. Evans is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and wrist care. He previously worked for Revere Health from 2023 to 2024 and is excited to return and provide comprehensive orthopedic hand and upper-extremity services to patients throughout Utah County. He will begin seeing patients at American Fork North Valley Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and Spanish Fork Orthopedics with plans to transition his practice to a new Revere Health location in Vineyard in early 2027.
Dr. Evans earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience with a minor in business management from Brigham Young University. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he earned honors in research. Dr. Evans completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico before completing specialized fellowship training in hand surgery at the University of Virginia. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and holds a specialty certificate in hand surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Evans has cared for patients with a wide variety of hand and upper-extremity conditions in both large orthopedic groups and private practice. His approach to care emphasizes collaboration, patient education, individualized treatment, and function restoration.
Dr. Evans treats carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, hand and wrist arthritis, fractures and trauma, sports injuries, Dupuytren’s disease, ganglion cysts, overuse conditions, and other causes of hand and wrist pain. He also provides wrist arthroscopy and minimally invasive procedures using local anesthetic.
I’m excited to return to Revere Health and provide orthopedic hand care to patients throughout Utah County,” said Dr. Evans. “I enjoy helping patients understand their treatment options and working together to find an approach that fits their individual needs and helps them get back to the activities they enjoy.
Outside of work, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys golfing, running, mountain biking, and exploring Utah’s mountains.
