Bio | Dr. Weenig has been practicing primary care sports medicine for over 18 years at Revere Health. He enjoys helping people heal from injury and return to their normal daily functions and treats a wide spectrum of fractures and musculoskeletal conditions. He is known as an empathetic and active listener that takes time to educate patients and help them participate in their personalized care plan. Before attending medical school, Dr. Weenig taught and coached at Timpview High School (his alma mater) for seven years. He chose to pursue a career in medicine because of his desire to help others. In addition to his efforts to help people within his practice, he serves as Chair on the Sports Medicine Advisory Committees for the Utah High School Activities and National Federation of State High School Associations. Dr. Weenig enjoys working with athletic trainers, athletic directors, school administrators, and state legislature to put into policy best practices for our high school student-athletes. Outside the clinic, Dr. Weenig enjoys spending time with his wife, Polly, and their five children. |
