| Dr. Nielsen loves orthopedics and enjoys seeing the benefits it can have in the lives of his patients. He is known for his ability to effectively treat patients with extensive and debilitating injuries and conditions, but he is also well-suited to help those who simply want to return to normal activity and function, so they can get back to doing the things that they love. Dr. Nielsen specializes in primary and revision surgeries of the hip & knee. He knew that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine after studying anatomy and pathology in school, and continues to be passionate about fitness and health. He is well-respected by peers for his surgical ability and loved by patients for his thoughtful approach to treatment. In his free time, Dr. Nielsen enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, surfing, mountain biking, and eating good food. |

I will continue to visit Dr Nielsen for all my days!
Dr Nielsen helped my with some shoulder and knee pain last year. He helped me to understand the issues with my knee and suggested that I do not yet need surgery, which I am grateful for. I feel like sometimes Drs just want to get you into surgery so they can generate higher billed charges. I will continue to visit Dr Nielsen for all my days!

An awesome experience, will be the only Ortho I want to see going forward!
Dr. Nielsen was a godsend for me. I came in with a torn shoulder, and he spent time with me to go over how the injury occurred, and then he performed some mobility tests. An X-Ray was needed, which we took care of immediately with no delay, and then Dr Nielsen came back in to review the results, diagnose the problem, and treat me. I immediately was able to get some mobility back and the healing process began. He even reached back out a week later to check on me and recommend some additional rehab movements to incorporate into my workout routines. An awesome experience, will be the only Ortho I want to see going forward!
