PROVO, UT – July 14, 2017 – William Rowe, MD recently joined Revere Health as its newest interventional cardiologist.
Rowe will be practicing throughout Utah County in American Fork, Lehi, Orem and Provo. He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine.
As a cardiologist, Rowe is active in clinic research and has always liked being on the cutting edge of science and discovery.
“In 1983, modern treatment of heart attacks had not yet been discovered, and the AIDS epidemic was just starting,” said Rowe. “As a newly trained internist, I gave the first dose ever given in my Air Force hospital of a ‘clot buster’ medication for the treatment of heart attack.”
The patient Rowe was treating at the time was immediately cured. It was that modern miracle that changed Rowe’s professional career from infectious disease to interventional cardiology.
Rowe brings his expertise to Revere Health and specializes in cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, stents, atherectomy, coronary physiology, cardiac hemodynamics, and congestive heart failure and treatment.
I have a passion for helping patients and helping them help themselves,” said Rowe. “If my patients are motivated, I can help them change a devastating fatal illness into a celebration of fitness and life. It makes them happy, and it gives me joy.
