Revere Health Cardiology Welcomes Faraz Luni, MD

Utah County, UTAH – October 1, 2020 – Dr. Faraz Luni recently joined Revere Health Provo Cardiology Department as the newest electrophysiologist. He will begin seeing patients at the beginning of October.

“Revere Cardiology is the largest cardiology group south of Salt Lake City,” said Paul Wyner, an administrator for Revere Health Cardiology. “Dr. Luni will be joining two dynamic electrophysiologists who are well-known throughout the world, Dr. David Wang and Dr. Chun Hwang. Dr. Luni’s exceptional training and surgical skills will greatly benefit the medical community, and we are very excited for him to join our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologist specialists.”

Faraz Khan Luni, MD completed a dual bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) at Dow Medical College and finished a certification course in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Toledo. He finished an Internal Medicine residency as chief resident at the University of Toledo Medical Center, fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he was also the Chief Fellow and finished his fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Texas Southwestern. He is especially interested in the treatment and management of atrial fibrillation, and he is trained in other complex ablations of conditions including supraventricular tachycardias, typical and atypical flutters, and ventricular tachycardias. Dr. Luni also implants cardiac devices like pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy, subcutaneous ICDs, leadless pacemakers, and Watchman devices. He is board certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease, American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Echocardiography. Dr. Luni is also actively involved in research and he has more than 60 peer reviewed publications, national/international oral presentations and poster presentations. He speaks English, Urdu, and Hindi.
