Utah County, UTAHAugust 16, 2021 – Ron Chong-Yik, MD, MPH recently joined the Revere Health Provo Cardiology clinic as its newest cardiologist. He will begin seeing patients at the end of August.

“We are excited to have Dr. Chong-Yik join the Revere Health team,” said Ozzie Osborn, an administrator at the Revere Health Provo Cardiology clinic. “He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit every patient in his care.”

Dr. Chong-Yik obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biomedical sciences at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada followed by a dual bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) at the University of Queensland in Herston, Australia and a Master of Public Health degree, specializing in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He then completed an internal medicine internship and residency followed by a cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following this, he completed a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine in Rochester, New York where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Chong-Yik is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases with the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. He speaks fluent English, French, and Cantonese.
