Revere Health Family Medicine Welcomes Jonathan Shumway, DO

Salem, UTAH – July 12, 2021 – Jonathan Shumway, DO recently joined the Revere Health Salem Family Medicine clinic as its newest family medicine provider. He will begin seeing patients in August 2021.
“We are excited to have Dr. Shumway join our Revere Health team,” said Melodie Chapple, an administrator for the Payson Medical Specialty Offices. “He has an impressive background with extensive experience in family medicine best practices.”
Dr. Shumway obtained a Bachelor of Science in public health, cum laude, at Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the UNTHSC Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Shumway is board eligible with the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in family medicine. He speaks English and basic Spanish.
I am thrilled to return home to Utah to join Revere Health’s Salem Family Medicine practice,” said Dr. Shumway. “As a primary care physician, I care deeply about disease prevention as well as disease management. I hope to use my knowledge and empathy to help patients achieve the best quality of life possible. I plan to be an integral part of keeping our community healthy and happy and look forward to being there for my patients for many years to come.
