PROVO, UT – September, 8 2017 – Payam Tristani, MD recently joined Revere Health as its newest dermatologist. She is currently the only physician in the Revere Health network to have specialized experience in Mohs surgery.
Tristani received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency and fellowships at the University of Utah. Tristani was certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 2002 and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Throughout her career, Tristani has authored numerous publications in dermatology surgery, lectured both regionally and nationally, and actively participated in several professional associations. Tristani most recently worked in the University of Utah Department of Dermatology as a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology and as the Director of the Laser and Cosmetic Clinic.
Dr. Tristani comes to us with years of experience,” says Revere Health Administrator Garrett DaBell. “She has a great reputation as a skilled and caring provider in her specialty. Our patients, especially our skin cancer patients, will definitely benefit from having ready access to her specific expertise.
Tristani has specialized expertise in Mohs Micrographic Surgery (a tissue-sparing technique for the removal of skin cancers). Her clinical practice focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers, including melanomas.
For Tristani, successfully treating patients motivates her to continue. “Giving the diagnosis of skin cancer is very stressful to patients,” she agreed. “I enjoy the ability to cure skin cancers with the most effective and efficient techniques.”
Tristani is now accepting new patients at Revere Health Provo Dermatology.
